Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

Social Expectations have a huge impact on how we present ourselves to others BUT these expectations never satisfy the internal yearning to be true to who we are.

In this video, Ruth looks at what the Bible tells us about being true to how God made us.

Move beyond striving to meet the expectations of others to being the person that God made you to be.

This is a wonderful consideration of how to be true to ourselves and to get beyond the concern of pleasing others.

This is part 1 of a two part series.

What are your deep longings, desires and hopes?

Are you keeping these to yourself?

Do you think that Jesus just might be interested in helping you fulfil your dreams?

God desires to bless you much more than you think.

We can move towards fulfilling our dreams if we can learn to trust Jesus enough to bring them all to Him.

In this video, Ruth looks at some examples in the Bible where people took a chance and approach Jesus with the deep felt desires.

He answered them.

He will answer you too!

In this follow up session to "How to be Yourself - Part I" Ruth looks at seven specific actions we can take to help us become the people that God made us to be.

How do I move past the expectations of others to be comfortable being the person I really am? The person that God made me to be - comfortable in my own skin.

How do we discover that place of peace and rest in being the "real me" while pursuing the valid hopes and dreams that are so important to us.

In a fast moving world with so many demands on our time and focus - how can we ensure that we keep stress at a manageable level?

Living a busy life does not mean that we have to lose our peace.

How can we make sure that our mind and spirit is at rest even when everything around us often seems hectic?

In this video Ruth considers how our lives could be if we lived from a place of rest rather than trying to fit rest times into a crowded schedule.

Ruth explores the biblical basis for rest and shows us how rest can be our foundation for living.

Are you living with worry, anxiety, stress or fear?

Things that you are correctly concerned about seem to take over and crowd out peace and tranquility that you often yearn for?

Are you fearful for what the future may hold?

No matter how you try, worry takes over and dominates your ability to make good decisions.

Your sense of worry dominates the relationship with family and co-workers.

This video is part 1 of a two part look at how to understand: -

(i) Why we worry and

(ii) The steps we can take to overcome worry

As Christians, Jesus tells us not to worry. Why is it so hard to put His words into action.

Ruth brings us through a process of understanding why we worry and how we can begin to trust God to help get us to a place of peace - the place where He wants us to live out our lives and our relationships.

"Don’t Worry" - is easy to say – hard to do.

In this video Ruth gives us 5 steps to overcoming worry and living a worry-free life.

This is part 2 of a two-part video series.

Taking a look at part 1 will help set the context for this video.

In part 1, Ruth brings us through a process of understanding why we worry and how we can begin to trust God to help get us to a place of peace - the place where He wants us to live out our lives and our relationships.

How we think shapes the people we are - Intro.

The influences that shape our thinking - Part 1

We are all hugely impacted by what we believe to be the truth BUT how do we know what is true?

How do we know if are attitude is right? How do we know that we have trained our minds to think correctly. What standard can we apply to ensure that correct thinking is directing our lives?

In this video Ruth looks at how we can take control of our thoughts and decide which thoughts should be allowed take root and direct the way we live and relate to others and to God.

This is the final part of a 4 part series on How we think. How our minds work.

We are responsible for our actions but how can we control what we think.

What are the things in life that determine how we think and what practical steps can we take to control how we think and how we respond to our thoughts.

In this video Ruth looks at how we can take control of our thoughts and decide how we can influence the way we think and consciously decide how our thoughts can shape our lives.
